Nurses Day at the Capitol

Nurses' Day at the Capitol, what a wonderful experience! It was a sight to behold. For as far as the eye could see, nurses and nursing students filled the State House steps to capacity. The placards told the story, the band set the mood, and the speakers addressed the crowd with story after story of the value of nursing and how our future depends upon addressing our issues. The elected officials in attendance truly understand our issues and are willing to act on our behalf. It was a great day to be in Montgomery and it was a great day to be a nurse!
